[PENANG EATS]ROTI CANAI AT JALAN TRANSFER PENANG

Penang is widely recognized with its street food scene and many will travel to Penang for the food. The street food still ranks the highest among the other states of Malaysia. I was there over the weekend at Georgetown, capital city of Penang for a short gateway. Thus, I took the opportunity to check out the 90 years of establishment roti canai at Jalan Transfer. Eat At Seven located at Suntec City has finally launched their newest concept, Tonkatsu Agedoki.”Age” means fried and “Doki” means time. The outlet specialized tonkatsu and takes pride itself on preparing pork cutlets that are fried to perfection. The shop is just next to Tempura Kohaku that I queued for an hour plus the other day. VLV is the latest wine and dine restaurant located at Clark Quay. VLV has taken over the heritage building which was used to be The Forbidden City by Indochine. If you are familiar with the place, you will surely remember there are terra cotta warriors at the entrance of the building. Yeah, that’s right. Oh well I visited Kko Kko Chicken Bar located at Kandahar Street with Nicholas, Nicole and Amanda on a Monday night recently. Kko Kko Nara first outlet is at Tanjong Pagar and this is their few months old franchise outlet. I was not expecting Korean restaurant along this street because the shops are mostly local, Indonesian and middle-eastern cuisines. It was a quiet street at night I would say. [PENANG TRAVELS] EXPLORING WONDERFOOD MUSEUM

So, I went Penang again over the weekend with another group of friends. This time round, I stayed in Airbnb and we explore Georgetown attraction places. One of them is Wonderfood Museum. Penang has quite a number of different museums around the island and Wonderfood Museum was established 21 November 2015. [PENANG EATS] PITT STREET KOAY TEOW SOUP (椰脚粿条汤 )@ CARNAVON STREET | GEORGETOWN

During my visit to Penang few weeks ago, my friend bought me to this famous shop serves Koay Teow Soup that uses local eels to make the fishball. As we parked the car at the opposite direction, I looked up at the shop signage. It was faded and not clear at all but tourists and customers seem to find their way here to try the food.
